There are twelve parks that are currently maintained by the recreation and parks.
Brewster Park is the largest with eight lighted ball fields and plans to expand. The Apple Valley
Community Center on Navajo Road offers recreation programs for children, adults, and seniors.
There are two 18-hole golf courses: Apple Valley Country Club and Jess Ranch. This town was designed
to be and equestrian community with pathways connecting most properties.
Reasons that families are attracted to Apple Valley are : clean air, low population
density, low crime rates, excellent schools, and a semi-rural lifestyle. Today, the Town of Apple
Valley continues to live by their slogan "A Better Way of Life"....
The Town of Apple Valley incorporated in 1988. The town's goal has always been
to be the premier residential community of San Bernardino County. Apple Valley is located just East
of Victorville in the High Desert Corridor. Apple Valley has some of the largest
homes in the area. Major emphasis has been placed on commercial and industrial development which
will build the Town's local economy.
